Brewbar’s Top Café Features:
As I shared in my review of our new Pour Over set by Fellow, I also picked up the Kettle to go along with it. I had a cheapy kettle I found on Amazon, which I used for a year prior. Here's the difference. The Fellow Kettle is the best looking one I've ever seen. It's beautifully made and well-constructed, sturdy and well-built. It can hold a temperature to what you set it to. It has a digital display. It ties to an app if you're really into pour-over. Functionally it's fantastic too. It heats up the water super fast and holds it at that temp you've selected. It pours at a proper speed to help you make better pour-over too. I highly recommend this kettle with the Pour Over set, filters, tasting glasses, Pearl Scale, and Baratza Grinder of your choice (we now carry two models).
Okay, I have to admit this was a splurge for me. But, I first bought a cheaper gooseneck kettle, which I used for about a year. It was fine, but in comparison it was much slower, didn't pour as well, and certainly couldn't hold a specific temperature for as long as I'd like. Plus, this Stagg Kettle also connects to my app. Mostly I don't use the app, but I've messed around with it and it's pretty cool to see how you can save profiles of your fave pour overs. I have this Kettle, the Fellow Pour over set, the tasting glasses and the older Baratza Encore grinder which is also great. I love this setup so much. Won't ever look back.
John, thanks so much for your feedback - we agree! We are excited to now offer Fellow products as we also love them!
