My kids are so excited about the lion king movie so these are a huge hit in my house!
Excellent product. I had these with oat milk, which was a great combination. The cereal stayed nice and crunchy and flavored the milk with cinnamon-y sweetness. There is some sugar, but not a ton, so I'd keep this in my pantry.
I did not know what to expect from a cereal made from beans, but Lion Hearts is super tasty. I really like that such great flavor comes from basic ingredients.
I received my Lion Hearts cereal in a shipment with other goods. My first choice was to try the Lion Hearts cereal. First, I looked to the nutrition facts, and was pleasingly surprised to find that there are only 7 grams of sugar per cup. This is always something I seek before I buy cereal because America has polluted breakfast with excessive grams of sugar! The next exciting realization I had was that the cereal is made with beans! I am currently working on decreasing starchy carbs in my daily intake, so I was really glad that I could enjoy these, and was not straying from my goals! I opened the box and thought to myself, "hey, this bag of cereal is actually full! Shopping elsewhere, I bought a bag of cereal or a snack, and it was so filled up with air to appear full...but this bag of Lion Hearts was full! On top of all these positives, the taste is so good! My first morning, I tasted the Lion Hearts with cashew milk! It was so delicious I had seconds. The cinnamon flavor was delicious and made the cashew milk so sweet. It was a great breakfast and really kept me full for a few hours!
This combines the peppy cinnamon glaze of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and the awesome crunch of Cap’n Crunch -- minus the sludgy sugar levels and palate-scraping texture. The sweetness is subtle, almost honey-like, and doesn’t overwhelm the taste buds, but still leaves you with a bowlful of sweet, cinnamon-y post-cereal milk. The bean base is an unexpectedly nice break from the usual cereal grains.
